Joint Airport Zoning Board

A Joint Airport Zoning Board (JAZB) has been established for the purpose of establishing custom zoning near the Bemidji Regional Airport. The goal of the custom zoning process is for the JAZB to collaborate on a zoning ordinance that properly balances the needs of the community while still ensuring the safety of flight as well as the general public.

  • No places of public or semipublic assembly (i.e. Churches, Hospitals, Schools)

  • Subject to site to building area ratios & site population limits
